I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Serocor Group (Portsmouth, South East England, England) in Jan 2020
Interview
Very relaxed but professional process which started with an initial chat with the Internal Recruitment Consultant to see if the role was something I would like to proceed with. My CV was submitted, after which an initial telephone interview was set up followed by a face to face interview a few days later.
The face to face interview itself was formal enough to give the vibe of a professional, reliable business but was relaxed and informal enough to make me feel at ease and comfortable enough to be able to really engage with the people interviewing me, ask lots of question and get a good feel for the role and the company.

Interview
First interview with the team leader discussing me, my current position and how I ended up in the job I am doing, where I want to go and what skills I have to bring, who was I as a person, do I get on in a team, am I approachable.
Second interview again with the team leader and HR manager, was told this was informal but there were a lot more in depth questions about the role, was pitched that it was a chat about me but was a lot more probing so was not fully prepared for this.
I was told on the day that I would hear the following day if I was successful or not as the shortlist was for two people, the next day came and went with no update. After the weekend I emailed to in the morning to request feedback again with no response. Come the afternoon I called the internal HR person who was very helpful in the process to ask if my email was received to then be told that they had gone with the other person and I would be called the following morning with feedback so I can better prepare for my next interview, as yet on the day writing this I am still awaiting a call!!! I specifically said that communication was a big part of me accepting a position with a new employer, they have fallen foul in my instance.

Interview
Competency based, with a focus on achievements and previous experience. Met the team afterwards, which was nice. Moved very quickly but to be expected for an interim position. Positive all the way through.
