I applied online. I interviewed at Seminole County Sheriff's Office
Interview
I applied and interviewed with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office for a Crime Analyst position earlier this year. I arrived for my interview on time and was told to wait in a room because the interviewers were currently eating lunch. I ended up waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled interview time and during the time I was waiting, I could hear all of the interviewers talking and laughing in the break room while I waited. The actual interview itself was going fine, until the end when I asked them when they were looking to fill the position by. I told them when I was able to officially start and I guess this conflicted with when they wanted to fill the position because their demeanor toward me changed immediately. Two of the interviewers became snippy and rude with me. There were some unnecessary and unprofessional remarks made by one of the interviewers which felt very condescending. I would love to say that I got an offer, but I never even heard back from them. I tried to follow up with them regarding an update or feedback but was only answered with a one sentence reply of "there are no updates at this time". The whole process just felt extremely unprofessional.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seminole County Sheriff's Office (Sanford, FL) in Dec 2016
Interview
I applied then I got a phone call for an Interview a week later. The interview was for 15 minutes with 3 people. The interview was a little uncomfortable since the cell phone of one of the interviewer kept going off. I understand because he was an officer and had to answer the call but it was really distracting.
