I interviewed for a position in Virginia. The DMV requires a guard card so I went through the 18-hour class and took the test and passed. I applied for a security officer position and got it. I did the orientation that's a full shift long. I was then called by Erlan (supervisor) who proceeded to tell me that he thinks it's a "conflict of interest" that I'm so close to the job site and that he was going to hire me as a supervisor. I told him that I applied for a security guard role. I then filed a complaint with EQS (their whistleblower program) and told them everything. I was then called by Sherry Harrison (manager) and I was made to feel like I was right. She said that she would speak to Erlan and call me back within a few days. She never called back. Over a month later, I'm called by the HR manager. She apologizes for everything and says that she will have a recruiter call me to place me into another role. No recruiter calls me. I worked for Securitas in Massachusetts and the hiring process was so smooth. Be careful working under Erlan and Sherry Harrison.
The interview process was done via phone call and was simply to get a grasp on what experience you have and what you are after. Email -> Resume request -> Phone call -> Training.
Very easy and friendly process and they were kind to explain everything and what to expect in this job and the core principal of the company and expectations of the company
I interviewed at Securitas (Normanton, Yorkshire and the Humber, England)
Interview
Easy and simple interview process. Found out very soon as well. Manager was good at the time. Not bad at all. Took a month from start to finish . Vetting was easy
