Interview
Please note, this is in reference to a hiring process in spring of 2021. I submitted my application, and was contacted for an interview with the hiring team. I was provided the questions in advance of the interview, which is a great equity practice that the Rep appears to have adopted. The interview itself was a zoom interview with 4 or 5 of the Rep stakeholders for that position. They took turns asking the prescribed questions, and asked follow ups as needed.

This position will provide important support for Seattle Rep’s staff as it grows again to support the return to live performance. Tell us about a time when you successfully provided training to a colleague, or helped them understand a complex process or concept, and the approach you used.

Interview
The House Management interview takes place with the Marketing Director and the the Audience Services Coordinator. It is a formal/informal conversation in a small, event room off of the front lobby. I found the experience to be very enjoyable with lots of laughter.

The Rep employees union ushers. It is the duty of the House Manager to fully understand the union rules. Many questions were asked in regards to this.
