Question 1
There was a relatively simple coding excercise followed by a system design part.
I applied online. I interviewed at Searchmetrics (Berlin) in Feb 2021
Interview
The process was well defined and smooth. I really enjoy the online coding task even if for me it is the most stressful way of checking my skills. But the engineer I was speaking with was very open and calm, which made me also calmer and more relaxed. The given task was the real one, not the JS tricks or quirks but the real-life use case I should correct. The second interview was focused on my experience and ways of approaching problems and challenges. It was very professional and there was no judgment at all. I felt heard and understood.

The technical interview was about a simple application correction. The next one was more about ways of working, learnings and discoveries I did during my years of work. The questions were well-formulated and gave me a lot of freedom to choose the most matching experience I wanted to share.
