I applied online. I interviewed at Seagen (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2020
Interview
failed on the first round, not a very pleasant experience overall. It feels like they want a person to do everything, according to what the job description says, research, programming, analytics, etc... and dont wanna pay you as much.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lot's of behavior questions, like what your strength is.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Seagen (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2023
Interview
Reached out by HR to discuss the position, the HR asked a few behavioral questions head on. Then scheduled a talk with the hiring manager, which was great - but I would say that they were looking for something very specific while this was not obvious in their job description. Then I was invited to a panel interview where I gave a 45 min presentation, followed by Q&A and 1-2 or 1-1 chats with more senior scientists and director-level persons. Questions from the hiring manager were mostly technical and I appreciated their attention to detail and interest in my work. Some 1-1s were mostly just people asking me questions and I answer, but pretty enjoyable overall. One of the interviewers was pretty candid about how I 'lacked industrial experience for this position' and the conversation was quite awkward.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Seagen (Bothell, WA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Three phase interview starting with a 30 min interview with the HR recruiter, followed by a 30 min interview with the hiring manager and a panel day-long interview. 2 weeks after the panel interview I was asked to provide three references to which the hiring manager reached with questions.
