I applied online. I interviewed at Schlotzsky's (Denison, TX) in Jun 2023
Interview
The guy calls. Doesn’t ask normal questions but instead says things like. “I see you were a insurance manager. This job is not a cushiony 9-5 nice setting. Why do you think you could handle it?” That want the only question like that. All of them were like that! So unprofessional! He assumed everything about my past experiences instead of asking. In insurance I work 6-7 days a week 12-13 hour days in the field. Honestly, that guy sounded miserable, tired, defeated and hating his job. That didn’t make me want to work for him even if offered.

I got hired by the family that owned a local store here. Interview process was more of an offer meeting rather than an interview. It was a great place to work for those four years of my life.
Very thorough process overall. I like that they include what they call a "Work Along" where the candidate works in a restaurant for a lunch rush. They encourage you to ask questions of the teams in order to see if you are a good fit. The interviewers were very personable.

Question 1
There really wasn't a question that I found too difficult, due to my extensive experience.
