I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sazerac in Jan 2022
Interview
This process took over 3 months. Sazerac reached out to me about an info session. A screen call was then set up followed by a interview with a recruiter. The recruiter said they would schedule an interview with a manager once the market had a manager. The communication continued for well over 2 months as I was unsure how long the process would take. I kept getting lead on to believe it would be soon. Finally the recruiter asked for a date and time when I was available & then all of sudden she ghosted me. It would of been nice to get rejection letter or some communication to let me know they moved on. Seemed like a waste of time & very unprofessional. I’m not sure why this company was lacking basic communication/respect for what seemed like a promising final round. They are hiring over 900 MDR so that could be it but at least be organized to tell people what’s going on rather than keep them believing it’s about timing & not respond. Be more professional about it!
Basic Interview questions involving history in CPG. Explains background of recent experience along with execution made in the market. Haley was very engaging and presented 3 questions to answer. Great interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sazerac (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
One interview over zoom, fairly simple questions. I felt comfortable. The recruiter sent all benefit information before my formal interview and tips on what to research before my interview which was so helpful
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions like experience in the field, how I plan my day as a current sales rep, strengths and weaknesses. Successes in the field.
Filled out application online. Receive an email from a Sazerac recruiter and we set up a phone screen. I waited for the call around 15 minutes then emailed the recruiter. It was only then that he told me that he was not the recruiter for my area any longer, and that he would forward my information to the new recruiter. How about letting me know prior to our scheduled call? I rearranged my schedule to accommodate this call time. Rude and obviously don't value others time.
