I went thru a recruiting agency, Savage was hiring in many different accounting roles, she sent over my resume along with recommend letters stating my experience. I met with the gal over the department and then her boss came in briefly and was very impressed with my experience, asked my to be supervisor to send me an e-mail just in case I had in questions....that did not happen so I was disappointed about that, however I followed up with a thank you letter, sent it to my recruiting agency and she forwarded it on. She also reached out to them and found that they were super busy trying to close month-end and quarter-end. There are some changes about to happen and didn't want to loose me as a prospect so they brought me on part time until a few things get worked out in the next couple of weeks, then I will be full time. My recruiter got an e-mail asking if I was still available as they wanted to go over some options about hiring me, this was a wednesday and I started work on that Friday, we did a work lunch, they have a cafeteria which made it nice also, we just went to one of the conference rooms and ate and had a meeting which was very informative, it's nice to already be included, so far it doesn't seem to be political, hopefully it won't be.
