The first two rounds of interviews were effective and inspiring. When meeting with colleagues in the 3rd interview, the energy was gruff and discouraging by a future colleague with 10+ years in her role. There was a lot of time invested on all of our parts to not receive a message that I wasn't moving forward any longer.

it was a fast easy experience with three interviews with various people involved in asking numberous questions. questios were very easy and straight to the point about experience and sense of personality and getting along with otheres.

Interview
Orchestral auditions are run in 2-4 rounds. The Sarasota Orchestra process is generally 3 rounds. The first two rounds are behind a screen with the final round not. It is possible for no winner to be chosen, which is very frustrating for both the audition committee and the auditioning players.
