I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sappo School (New York, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
I had to meet with the president of the company and show my portfolio. I also was asked to bring any information that would show that I would be an ideal candidate, so I brought samples of work-related contributions to other tutoring services.

Question 1
In my opinion, how are my skills in my area of teaching compared to most others.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sappo School
Interview
It was really easy and straightforward. The interviewer read off a list of maybe 10-15 questions and I would answer each one to the best of my ability. While it was easy it didn't feel organic. He just had a piece of paper he read off of and wrote down my answers and that was basically that.

Question 1
Describe a time where you had a problem with a fellow employee? How did you handle it?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sappo School (New York, NY) in Aug 2011
Interview
The interview was friendly, yet very professional. The obvious intent was to find a teacher who would put student interests ahead of all else. One thing I well remember is Sappo saying, "I am hard on my teachers, because I expect the best for my students." That proved true but I love it that way.
