I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sandia National Laboratories in Oct 2021
Interview
After applying, heard back about an interview very quickly. It was about 2 weeks out, 45 minutes long, and not overly difficult. Requested I respond using the STAR method, it was a difficult interview with four interviewers, but not trick questions. They said it was impressive to even get an interview and it wasn't about proving myself as much as it was simply about having a conversation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked soft/hard skills, where do I see myself in 5 years, what does Sandia do and why do I want to work with them.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sandia National Laboratories (Albuquerque, NM) in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied online at Sandia's website, I was called months after applying. I was sent an email to set up an interview. The interview was a panel of interviewers (I believe 5) via phone. The call was about 30-45 mins. Because it was via phone is was pretty awkward, there were long silences because they said they had to type. No one really contributed to the conversation other than me talking and one other representative asking questions. It is hard to convey your personality via phone.

Question 1
They asked a mixture of behavior questions and soft questions. Some that were a little difficult were: "What would your greatest enemy say about you?". Some questions that I have not encountered on an interview were like: "What would you do if your boss had you do something that you didn't agree with." Or "Was there anything you thought we would ask, but we didn't." Then you would have to answer that statement.
