Overall a very frustrating process with poor communication from the recruiter. Scheduled a time with the recruiter who was a no show. I emailed the recruiter to see if there was an issue with the scheduling. She replied right away that she didn't have internet and had to reschedule. It seems like it should have been fairly easy for her to email me that before our scheduled time as she clearly had access to email or have a college help and let her appointments know. In a series of emails, recruiter offered times to reschedule that did not fall within the availability of times I had already given. Eventually rescheduled and during the call the recruiter seemed distracted and frustrated. I asked a question and she said 'well as I already said' with something she definitely had not discussed yet. Recruiter said they were very early on in the interviewing process, with an aim to close within 1-2 months and that I seemed like a good fit. She confirmed she would let me know by a specific day after sharing my profile with the hiring manager if I would be moving forward. Recruiter did not get back to me at agreed upon time. I followed up several days later and she said the role had been filled. I understand that there is plenty to manage as a recruiter - but letting potential hires know you won't make a call, giving timelines within the realm of accuracy, etc seem reasonable expectations that were not fullfilled.
