I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Saltchuk
Interview
After applying, I was contacted by HR to have a first interview. I was scheduled for a total of seven interviews. That's right, seven interviews. When told I was going to be scheduled for the sixth interview, I shared my concern over the lack of a decision at this point, at which time they told me they planned to make an offer but wanted the last two people to get to meet me as a formality. Makes me wonder how many great candidates they've lost because of similar circumstances.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us and the effort you put into the interview process.
Our culture and team fit are extremely important to us, especially for senior-level positions. We like to give candidates the opportunity to meet with multiple team members to gain a well-rounded view of our company culture.
We’re always looking for ways to improve our process and would love the opportunity to meet with you and hear more about your experience. Please feel free to reach out to any one of our HR team members at the Saltchuk corporate office. Our doors are always open, and we’d genuinely appreciate hearing more from you.
There were a couple rounds of video interviews, first was the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and then the last round would have been in person, but I was not selected to proceed.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Saltchuk (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2021
Interview
I interviewed with two members of their team and it went pretty well. I was nervous of course but they were really kind and friendly and tried their best to make me feel at ease. The conversation was 70% them asking me questions and 30% me asking them which is pretty good. I didn’t get the job but I still think it was a good interview experience.
