Usually there is an orientation with the provider you chose, depending on your provider they might have you meet with like the hiring people (I met w the HR ppl) and they hired me on the spot.

They just asked about availability. You're going to get in either way because SYEP is not selective.
simple, they explain the program and welcome you to the program. They talk about work positions available. Great simple job for the summer as a student taking a break from school or college
