I setup an interview it was easy following that email I was sent an email with a few videos that were irrelevant and outdated. They will ask you what you thought of the videos, I just lied and said they were great. In my opinion the person interviewing has no business interviewing people since she has no experience in the field she also had an attitude the entire call. It wasn't helpful at all and frankly a waste of time getting no insight of what its actually like to work here. In order to get to talk to someone like that they want you to follow their funnel of how they do things which to me tells me they are going to be difficult to work for and give zero direction for success. That said, SVN offers a 6 week training program where you work on sales techniques and after two weeks time you start calling, and are expected to outbound dial 250 people per week. which led me to ask if I would be specializing in any sort of commercial and the answer was no I would be doing all types. which again makes me feel she is the wrong person to be interviewing with and also tells me you are 100% on your own. I commented on reason I ask is because I have years of experience in multifamily industry with a lot of connections and noticed they have no listings within the field and was curious if they had recent sales in the field and she said that field is not a good to be in as if it was an offensive question for me to ask. I also asked why would I choose SVN over another brokerage being that there is no starting salary, is there a better payout structure - she also did not like me asking this question. and gave me an answer of don't expect any money for a year. which seems normal across the field but I felt like she was treating my questions as if they are offensive. At the end she asked me to take an assessment and call references and then come in for an interview if the assessment checks out
