STR Mechanical interview questions

Interview process is a total joke and so is the person holding the interviews. Not once during the interview did the guy ask me if I have done commercial HVAC. I tried to explain that I had numerous years of experience, ran jobs and had service tech experience. I asked him what the hourly wage would be for someone like myself and said best he could do was $18. He said I would only be considered a helper and not a lead mechanic. I took the job offer because I needed medical benefits
