I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SSENSE (Montreal, QC) in Dec 2017
Interview
I got an interview through connections, I had recently graduated from a web dev bootcamp. There was no particular culture fit interview except for a brief phone conversation with a member of recruitment. The technical interview was with two or three interviewers in a room with a whiteboard, they asked me some questions about my relationship to development and code, asked me about an app I'd made, gave me a short (4 question) Javascript quiz and asked me to do a whiteboard question. The interview was challenging but not aggressively so. A couple weeks later I received an answer that they needed somebody with more experience. I emailed the interviewers to ask for feedback as I thought it would be helpful, but received no apply.

Question 1
They asked me to explain the architecture of an app I'd built recently, in detail. Then they asked me how I'd extend it, in particular how I'd build custom queries to the database to find particular details about usage.
