      Account Manager, Client Services Interview

      Jun 15, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Auburn Hills, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SPAR Group (Auburn Hills, MI) in Jul 2014

      Interview

Interview was pretty easy. The men I interviewed with, who would be my bosses, were easy to get along with and asked pretty standard questions. They were super flexible with scheduling, knowing that I was commuting from several hours away to interview for this position. I applied online, had a phone screening the very next day, was asked to come in for an interview a few days later, and one week after that I was offered the position. Because I was moving several hours to take the job and my new apartment wasn't ready to move in to yet, the company paid to put me up in a hotel for my first week, which was very generous.

      Question 1

On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate your written and verbal communication skills, respectively?

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SPAR Group

      Interview

Interview process was very standard. I had 2 interviews with 1 Director each time. Mostly focused on how I would contribute to the team. Also since most Account Managers work closely with their Director they try to get a feel for your personality to ensure you are a good fit.

Open ended questions...Tell me a time you and a manager did not agree on a course of action? What did you do? How did you overcome the disagreement? Why should we hire you over the other candidates?
