I was contacted for a phone interview and the recruiter missed our appointment twice; i figured they werent interested in hiring me anymore but eventually we had the phone interview and when i told them my salary requirements the recruiter told me i shouldnt bother interviewing because it was a lot less money than i was asking for (although i interviewed anyways). I was asked to come into the office for an interview after the phone interview where i met with the recruiter and my direct report. No questions were out of the ordinary; i was contacted with an offer the following week
