Deep dive into projects I have worked on
Problem solving
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Rune Labs (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2021
Interview
The recruiter who contacted me was awesome and we had a wonderful conversation that had me pretty excited to continue on in their process.
Then came the next step, which took the form of a gentleman who was 6 minutes late to the call, didn't know who I was, didn't know what role he was interviewing me for, and didn't seem to know anything at all about the product that he was in charge of. Every single question that I asked was responded to with a bafflingly rambling filibuster about architectural issues that had nothing whatsoever to do with my question and took more than 10 minutes to complete. When I finally broke down and just flat out asked him why he was choosing not to answer any of my questions, he told me that that was not really the purpose of this call.
Somebody really needs to go back to interviewing class.
