The interview process was long. I was able to meet/speak via zoom with various folks in the marketing department ranging from different roles. I did notice lack of diversity in leadership and overall within the BD team. I was hoping there would be people of color within the group; but I wrong. Everyone was nice and most of the team members had longevity at Ropes; which is a plus. The HR person notified me and said my experience is too heavy in the proposal process and wanted someone with more strategy expertise. The takeaway I had is they want you to come into this role having work experience in all areas. 1. HR person- 10 min call 2. Marketing /BD Managers- 3 hr call -5 ppl 3. Marketing /BD Directors - 2 hr call -5ppl 4. Marketing Team - 5 ppl - 1.5 hours (but I didn’t make it to this stage)

Very quick and efficient, interviewed and was extended the offer the next day. They moved very quickly and were flexible with my start date. Overall, I was very impressed with the process.
