I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Singapore) in Jan 2015
Interview
only a phone interview is done, not from the hiring manager but from the director directly. It saved the processing time. The phone interview lasts for 5-10 mins. Then the decision is soon done since this is only for internship but not as important as the employee. But the phone interview is not during the office hours, which surprised me that time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what activities have you done that is related to this job?
The interview process consisted of an online application, followed by a behavioural interview with engineering managers. Questions focused on teamwork, problem-solving, technical interests, and past project experience. The interview was conversational and relaxed, with opportunities to discuss university projects and career goals.
The Interviews are led by the departments you apply for. For me it was just a single interview, wich was mainly about the personal fit and my experiences. It's advisable to prepare a presentation about yourself.
1. Online application, via their website.
2. About 2-3 weeks later, receive an email about the interview. It is basically about behaviorial questions, not very technical.
3. 1 week later, receive the result.
