I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Bosch in Feb 2015
Interview
This was an assessment center type of interview. On the first day was an introduction of the company and a very nice dinner with people from the company. On the second day, there was a case study of a real project, to be done in a team of 4. Then you are asked to present and answer questions. Then there was a standard interview.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here?
What salary?
Location?
It was a regular interview process: first call with HR representative, then a technical interview with the manager of the team and then a final discussion where the entire offer was presented and the conclusion of the interview.
I analyzed the BOM for all oxygen sensor variants, mapping each component by cost, complexity, and supplier. I reviewed the supplier footprint across Germany, Czech Republic, China, and India, factoring in logistics lead times and landed costs. Using supplier cost breakdowns (materials, labor, overhead, tooling), I built comparative cost models to identify savings levers. This analysis highlighted localization opportunities and guided supplier consolidation and platform standardization.
I applied online. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
Pretty straightforward, 4 stage interview.
Phone call, On line, In Person, On line.
No silly games - didn't feel like an interview at all.
Process was well explained by the HR rep and I knew all the key dates. They were very helpful with transparency on timelines and role expectations.
