I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Riverpoint Medical (Portland, OR) in Jun 2025
Interview
Lengthy interview process with 3 rounds — an HR phone screening, virtual meeting with the hiring manager, then a 4 hour in-person interview with the team. Although it was a positive interview experience with the engineering team, I was ghosted after 3 rounds with no further communication. I felt like that was rude given the amount of time invested into the interview process by the 3rd round.

How do you manage your workload when you do not have enough time to complete everything asked of you?

Interview
Brief phone interview with HR Director followed up with a Teams interview with the VP of Op's. The interview lasted about an hour if I remember correctly. I did not interview with anyone else. I was told that they would move forward with other candidates who meet the requirements of the position, which is strange because there was nothing that was asked that I could not answer. They obviously already viewed my resume so if I did not meet the requirement then why did they interview me in the first place. I have nearly 20 years of experience in medical devices, so I have a very good understanding of the field. I believe that I may have been a victim of ageism.
Riverpoint has a thorough interview process that involves interviews with multiple departments that you will be interacting with on a daily basis. They were very friendly and accommodating as it was a 3-4 hour process in one day.
