      Quantum Error Correction Researcher Interview

      Feb 18, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Riverlane in Feb 2025

      Interview

The process lasted for four rounds. The first round was just with HR: nice conversation, mostly soft skills. Second interview was a bit more technical, mostly about parallelization and computing questions, and some questions on stabilizers. At the third stage they asked for a week-long coding assignment (DP). Fourth stage was a 90-minute interview: quite tough to understand what they were asking for explicitly, and the process felt a bit rushed.

What is the time complexity of the bin-packing-like algorithm I've developed.
