I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rite Aid (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. The hiring manager inquired about past working history. Why i left the last job and strengths, weakness questions. Since this interview was for a minimum wage position the overall interview process was more about the weekly availability and flexibility of my schedule. The only hurdle (if it is even one) is that many people who applied for this position either failed the drug test (Marijuana is still a drug) or failed the online assessment which is pretty standard boiler plate questions on customer service scenarios.
The interview process was easy. I applied online and was called for an interview about one week later. It was an in-person event that allowed me to showcase my personality and skills. It was one day, and I was hired on the spot.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rite Aid (Hudson, NY)
Interview
It was fairly easy. They just asked me meaningful questions that pertained to the job duties. The employees seemed nice, and they are passionate about their jobs. The interview was just fine.
Basically just asked me when I could start, was easy and I do not know why I was nervous. Would recommend applying and interviewing here for the easy job and free money.
