      Human Resources Advisor Interview

      Apr 16, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling

      Interview

Too many phases, meeting with people that ask the same thing and explain the same thing repeatedly - main output from all these meetings is that the role is HR Advisor, but could as well be Professional Firer, considering the emphasis they put on the layoff/offboarding/dismissal role of the person who takes the job. The recruiter was nice, but again, too many different meetings with different people - if you work full-time that can be an issue. I was on holiday and it was a struggle to accommodate their requests, despite the fact that I mentioned more than once that I was travelling and had very limited access to internet. Beyond the interviews, there's a take-home assignment, but nothing very difficult Went to the last stage, after meeting 5 people + taking an assignment, and not once was anyone able to provide me with salary ranges for the role, even if reference amounts only.

      HR Advisor Interview

      Jun 25, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Rippling in May 2026

      Interview

The first step was meeting with a Recruiter. The 2nd step was meeting with the Hiring Manager. The 3rd step was a "take home" assignment. There would have been 2 more interviews but I did not move forward. I was given no feedback on the take home assignment and received a very generic "thank you for applying but we moved forward with other candidates", which I felt was unprofessional that far into an interview process. The hiring manager lacked enthusiasm or even much of a personality during the interview so I am not sure I would've taken the job anyway, but a more personalized rejection or some feedback on the assignment would've been more considerate and helpful.

      Question 1

Honestly I wasn't asked a lot about my experience. Both interviews i had were more of them telling me about the role.
