I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Most of the rounds at this level were about system design, collaboration and culture fit. It was a phone screen, system design review 1hr, meeting with the hiring manager to get to know each other then 5+ rounds at an onsite with more system design, coding rounds, past projects review (2), and lunch with the team with final discussions with one of the senior exec who was available. Overall it was a blast and I got a really good feel for the pace and expectations that had been carried through now that I work here.

Interview
Interesting question on systems design and an amazing conversation with the interviewer. Overall a very positive experience over the one hr conversation. Its amazing how people think and get creative on interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rippling (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Initial call with recruiter, product presentation, background discussion. Recruiter asked for generic 2 tech screening rounds, when I asked which team is hiring, she had no idea and said she will get back to me. After couple of days she said the team I was interested in is moving with other candidates (there are no other candidates!), Later found out that the only reason they listed so many sr level roles was because some investor was trying to save money from SVB fiasco.
