I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rice McVaney Communications (Hingham, MA) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview took place on site in the RMC offices. The senior manager/founder was present and led the interview in a very conversational, casual and relaxed process. I found it easy to open up about my past experience and new goals. It was a positive experience.

Question 1
Mainly we discussed my experience with branding, marketing, my degree and how it relates to working with RMC. There were several talking points based loosely around this idea as well as a thorough description of what the job entails. I was grateful to hear that there would also be opportunities for other types of work outside of the initial position I applied for. Sure enough, much to my delight, soon after starting I was taking on a much more diverse work load than initially established. I feel that the interview Q & A gave way to opening other doors within the company.
Actually it was quite informal--I met with the key management people offsite and we had quite a wide-ranging discussion that went beyond the parameters of the usual "interview." They looked at my work up front but once they saw that it was good they seemed much more interested in getting to know me as a person than just as a designer who could help them make a buck.

Question 1
"Why are you doing what you do and not something else?"
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Rice McVaney Communications (Morgantown, WV) in Jul 2011
Interview
Applied through my school's career center easily and got a phone call a day or two later! My interviewer turned out to be my supervisor and he was great to work with. Young, friendly, understanding group of people. They put my school work/activities first. Asked pretty basic questions, nothing too challenging or surprising! The interviewer was a year older than me so we had a lot in common and he offered me a job on the spot.
