      Account Executive Interview

      Feb 10, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revivn in Jan 2025

      Interview

I rarely write reviews like this, but my last interview at this company compelled me to do so. The process actually started off a strong, albeit a little unconventional. I was hit up directly by the Founder where he didn't pitch me on the role but wanted to moreso get advice - it was unique so I took the call, but then he never followed up or pushed me to the hiring team. I went back to them a few weeks later and asked if we could move the process forward. Did a 45 min intro with brand new sales manager, and then was asked to come onsite to their office in the BK Navy Yard, which btw is extremely inconvenient to access as there are practically no close subways. The onsite was fine - did an exercise with the HM and then meet with 3 members of the team. I actually thought the interview went well as there was a lot of good alignment, however I didn't hear anything until I followed up directly with them over a week later and got a templated rejection email from a recruiter. When I asked for feedback, all they could tell me was that there were other candidates in the mix. Was really surprised they weren't able to offer more constructive feedback after several conversations and also traveling 45+ mins to come onsite for 2 hours. Overall they are doing cool things but they are a very small company and I know they are needing to do some re-growth after significant downsizing last year.
