Interview
Very detailed. Lots of good questions. Met with the entire Engineering Team as well as the CEO. They have a lot of engineers working on a bunch of different projects.

Question 1
They asked about projects I had worked on both in college and on the job. They had me present a solution to a prescribed problem. I had to present it to the entire team and they asked follow-up questions.

Interview
Process was pretty thorough, Good questions asked, turned very much into a feeling of a sales pitch. Offer is far from competitive for the work and experience that is required. Willing to pay commissions for the sales aspect but unwilling to budge on base wage for the technical knowledge of the "engineer" part. Job has been open for 2 years.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Resodyn Acoustic Mixers (Butte, MT)
Interview
Phone Interview followed up with in person interview. On site I was put in a room with the supposed brain trust of the group. I presented a power point (upon request) showing my experience through various projects. Many individuals are quite intelligent. The Owner is a micromanager. He puts up a smoke screen which really makes no sense. Even the picture on the webpage is not the actual manufacturing building and he may use a small segment. Not sure why he doesn't showcase his actual facility. But they is a shadow of his approach to communicating with people. At the end we spoke very plainly. He said one of his managers believed I would be a terrible manager because my approach seemed to kind and polite. The owner considers himself in intellect, but is not. When you are surrounded by fearful cheerleaders your head gets large. Mind you, he certainly understands his product. The last 3 individuals to take this position all left in less than a year.
