I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Airways (Carmel, IN) in Jul 2025
Interview
Interview went very well.
They made everything easy and smooth. It started with the option to stay at the company hotel the night before, which was a nice touch—though I live close by, so I didn’t need it.
I arrived early in the morning and chatted with the other candidates. While we were waiting for the tour, a captain came down and made casual conversation with us, which really helped ease the stress.
We were then taken on a tour of the facilities, followed by a short HR presentation in a classroom. After the presentation, the four interviewers gave us some time to ask questions.
Then we returned to the hotel and waited in the lobby to be called in for interviews. After about 10 minutes, we started getting called in. The interview itself included 3–4 HR-style questions, followed by about 15–20 minutes of technical questions. After that, I had the chance to ask my own general questions.
Once finished, they gave us a gift card for lunch. They mentioned that a hiring decision would be made within one to two weeks.
Overall, it was an excellent experience
Felt very welcomed. Campus is beautiful. Flew in the night before and stayed in their hotel. Breakfast provided. Tour of the property followed by a presentation and a Q&A with pilots. Interviews followed that.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Airways (Indianapolis, IN) in Apr 2026
Interview
Everyone was very nice and the interview process was simple. The atmosphere was very friendly and it felt like they wanted me to be there. Everything felt more like a conversation than an interview.

Interview
The interview process with Republic Airways was an incredibly positive and well-organized experience from start to finish. They flew me in the day before and provided accommodations at their Brickyard hotel, which had an awesome vibe—getting to connect with other pilots in a relaxed setting made it a really enjoyable start.
The next morning included breakfast, followed by a tour of their impressive training facility. It was clear how much they invest in their operation and their people. One of the highlights was the opportunity to have a pilot-only conversation with current line pilots, which gave a genuine and transparent look into the day-to-day experience at Republic.
The formal interview was straightforward and professional, and the entire process felt welcoming and well thought out. After everything wrapped up, they coordinated a smooth shuttle back to the airport for the trip home.
Overall, it was a fun, engaging, and very positive experience that left a great impression of the company and its culture.
