      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Regeneron (Albany, NY) in Jun 2020

      Interview

Took a bout 4 rounds of interviews and 2 months. Taking a lot of time to schedule each round (2-3 weeks apart). HR personnel very responsive. Each interview round would contain pretty much the same questions.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Regeneron in Aug 2020

      Interview

Initial e-mail with talent recruitment specialist to set up a time to talk about position. Initial phone call from talent specialist was straight forward and 30 minutes We just discussed my previous and current work experience. The talent specialist told me about the company and responsibilities pertaining to the position. The talent specialist informed me before we hung up that the next steps where a phone interview with the hiring manager (which we set up) for the department. If I made it passed the hiring manager, next was a panel interview with members of the department through Skype for business followed by a mechanical aptitude test aptitude test on site. The phone interview with the hiring manager was straight forward. Asked me about my passions and we discussed my current jobs. The hiring manager was able to discuss the role in further detail. Informed me before we hung up the Talent Specialist would be in touch to discuss the next steps. Heard from the talent specialist several days later and we setup a time for the 3 hour panel interview. Information was sent to me ahead of time. Benefits package, information on the Skype session and whom I would be meeting with. Skype session was straight forward, spoke with the hiring manager, team leaders of the department, other senior managers and the directors. They we all were really nice and made me feel like I was already part of the team. Question asked were straight forward like before. The last person I spoke with was the talent specialist and was told they would be in touch in 2-3 weeks to discuss. Waited over three weeks to be told I would not be moving on to the mechanical aptitude test as I lacked industry experience. Which basically equals we don’t want to invest in you. All these people who spoke to me knew by my resume, I lacked industry experience. We all know one doesn’t gain industry experience unless someone takes a chance on you. They thanked me for my time and I took a survey and I got a $5 Amazon gift card. Just remember there is always a plan so if a job you applied for doesn’t work out, you weren’t meant have it and something better is coming.
