I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Reddit (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
I generally felt like the team did not have a standardized interview process. The team asked off the cuff questions. This makes me feel like they don't have an apples to apples method for comparing candidates, and it's more so based on personality fit. Finally, there were no women out of the six people on my interview panel. This sends a message that diversity and representation are not important to Reddit, which is extremely unfortunate.

Question 1
Given results from an A/B test, analyze the results and provide a recommendation
Hiring manager first, with questions about experiment design and behavioral questions about the project.
Then, two interviews with product and engineering, all behavioral.
Then, an interview with HM about a case study. Here, knowing the metrics was key. Then a technical interview, discussing verbally what to do with some A/B test results. Finally, a talk with the skip manager, mostly about past work.
One recruiter call, then hiring manager call, technical round, then onsite with 4 rounds about technical, behavioral, case study and meeting with hiring manager and product partner. Technical round was asked SQL and simple python manipulation questions.

Question 1
Tell me one of your past project regarding AB testing
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reddit
Interview
Very SQL-heavy. Process was: 1. Technical screen 2. Hiring manager screen 3. Panel of 4 interviews, two technical and two "soft" The process was great up until the end of the interviews, at which point the recruiter and hiring manager both ghosted me and stopped answering messages, without ever saying "no thanks." Ghosting after I've spent 5-6 hours interviewing is not appropriate, and no other company I've interviewed with has ever done this.
