      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reckitt

      Interview

I applied through my campus career page and completed the online application. Not too difficult, but there was an online math test afterwards. 18 questions in 25 minutes, the key is not to freak out, and if you think a question is taking too long, skip it. The first interview was done at school, very brief, the interviewers were so nice, and so excited to talk about the company. They asked me what stream I would be interested in (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain), and then had a set question to ask me based on my answer. Besides that single question, the rest was all behavioural. Very relaxed. The second round interview was in New Jersey. The day we arrived there was a cocktail that night where there were representatives from the company who would be judging you the next day. The day consisted of four components (in no particular order): Individual case crack, group case crack, 1-on-1 interview, and a group negotiation. I had never been more scared for anything in my life, and it ended up being a really fun day.

      Question 1

The most difficult aspect was the group negotiation. Every year I am told the format changes, but essentially you have to persuade your group members to your side of an argument, while 4 employees watch you all. It's tough because everyone thinks that if they don't convince everyone then they won't do well. Remember that compromising/collaboration is always important. Do not think that the way to stand out is necessarily by convincing everyone that you are right and they are wrong.
