Unprofessional all around. You are sent an email to set up an interview date and time. When you do, you get another email with the link to the Google Meet room. My appoint time was at 3:30PM and was set to end at 3:43PM and so I showed up at 3:25PM to make sure I was on time. By 3:40, no one showed. I got a call at 3:41PM from the person doing the interview. She was very soft spoken with an extremely thick accent. I had my volume on full, and could barely hear and/or understand her. She made claims that she was in the Google Meet room waiting for me which is a lie, I have screenshots on my phone proving I was there and no one else because it flat out said in the middle of the screen "You are the only one in the room". So she offered to do it over the phone call, so we did that. The interview on the phone was literally only a total of 7 minutes, consisting not really of interview questions, but when can you start, what do you want to be paid, and that is pretty much it. In that 7 minutes, she interruped me a total of 9+ times over the course of 3 questions. I asked her more questions than she asked me. How sad is that? I asked what they start at, and she refused to tell me. She answered with "Well what do you want to make?" My girlfriend has been in management for years, and even when I told her this she lifted an eyebrow. That is called fishing for a low ball answer. Starting pay could be $20 an hour, but if I offer up $15 an hour, you are going to take that and not say a thing. This woman was extremely unprofessional, and very rude. She kept cutting me off over and over again. She did absolutely zero research on me because she didn't even know I was currently employed (Umm hello, application AND resume said I am!), had no idea that I even had a guard card (again, it says it on both). She kept digging for info on my current security job, which had me kind of suspicious because it wasn't relevant to the current situation, and so I obviously avoided giving too much info, but it was still kind of odd. And because of how unprofessional this interview was, I am looking elsewhere. I WAS going to accept it, and might still, but if your HR is this level of unprofessional, then that has me questioning how everyone else is going to be. Seriously, this HR rep was awful. My mother who is an HR rep for a different company even said that everything was done extremely unprofessional. I am putting yes and accepted to did you get an offer because I don't know. They want me to send a copy of my DL and guard card (mind you it is through an email from a totally different person with a totally different email so it honestly is suspicious. Like hers came from @rangerguard.net and this persons is from @securityguardtx.com) but I don't know. Something doesn't feel right. I am having to think about it.
