I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Raising Cane's (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
The Restaurant Partner (the highest manager for the store I interviewed at) did not bother to look over my resume beforehand and did not have a print-out of my resume at the interview table. So the RP asked questions regarding my employment status, my last job, and my skillset that wouldn't need to be asked if they had read my resume. The RP then went behind the counter to ask the Scheduling Manager if there was any room on the schedule for me. And returned to the table to tell me there was no room on the schedule at this time. (On a side note: I had worked for Cane's before, and the hiring manager at the other store I worked at with came to the interview fully prepared. So I am just shocked at how messy and disrespectful of my time this RP was. Even if they call me back later with an offer, I won't take the job.)
The process was friendlier than I expected while we talked mostly about the skills that I possessed and what would my contribution to the company be. Overall the experience though me a lot about how to present one self in a formal setting.
Very welcoming and got back to me quickly. The managers there are super talkative so don't be worried about anyone being too weird. A lot of them are on the younger side as well, so that's a plus.
It was easy. Managers didn’t ask anything besides availability. Make sure to seem very cheerful and enthusiastic and they’ll hire you on the spot. The interview probably lasted around 15-20 minutes. Cannot stress how easy it was
