I had two interviews. The first was with the direct supervisor which went very well and it was a friendly, engaged conversation with quick follow up. The second interview was with a panel of staff across several departments. They each had assigned questions and just went around and asked them with no conversation or engagement with my responses. It was uncomfortable and disappointing because I was really passionate about the role and my experience was very aligned and my first interview went so well. It felt like they had already decided against me as they seemed disengaged. I was notified that they offered the role to someone else but they posted the same exact position a few months later. Unclear as to what happened or why they wouldn't have followed up with me if the role was again open. I was clearly very interested, passionate, and a solid fit based on experience and culture. Disappointing and frustrating
