I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rail Safety and Standards Board (London, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
I had a three stage interview process, each with a different panel of people. The first and second stages were online, with the third being in-person at their London office. Each interview focussed on a range of competency questions relating to project management as well as situational questions. The panellists for the online interviews all had their cameras on, and every panellist throughout the process was polite and courteous.

Interview
I had a very good and positive interview experience when I applied for a Project Manager role. I applied for the role online and found the hiring manager to be very responsive and flexible when trying to arrange an interview slot. The actual interview itself was with 2 panel members and they made me feel really welcome and at ease as they introduced themselves. At times during the interview I asked if they could repeat a few questions, which they always did. One thing that stuck with me after the interview was the information they provided to me about the onboarding process and training (if I were to be successful). It was a good two-way conversation and they answered all of my questions about the role.
