I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RTX in Oct 2008
Interview
Raytheon went a long way to bring new graduates to their facility, which included transportation, a night in a nice hotel, multiple meals (including an extremely nice coctail party with RMS leadership) and a select tour of their facility. Multiple managers were present and discussed different aspects of RMS, including some of their more notable projects. The entire process took 1.5 days and went smoothly. I had multuiple panel interviews that asked a variety of questions with different work groups, although nontechnical. Raytheon's HR was extremely timely with their updates and the overall process proved to be enlightening and positive.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Called by the recruiter who asked some checkbox questions. Set up a panel interview with 5 or 6 pretty senior engineers. All older men with and some had upwards of 25 years with the company. It was pretty intimidating and they asked about past experience and through in some behavioral questions. Showed very little emotion and really didn't sell the position well.
The interview process was quick and easy. They prefer candidates that have work experience. Try to have an internship or a project so they can ask you on what you need to do
It was great. The process was very smooth and HR was very nice. Replied in 2 weeks after interview and got offer. I was impressed by their organizational skills. I can't wait to start my internship! Go Raytheon!
