I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RSM (Houston, TX) in May 2016
Interview
This was a group interview. Everyone professionally socialized while waiting for individual interviews. You were able to choose a morning or afternoon interview, though I advise you take the morning interview. By the end of the day, everyone is exhausted. Interns and associates socialized in a room with us while we waited for our interviewers. The individual interviews lasted around 30 minutes each, though mine went over a bit. Everyone was friendly and just wanted to know about you, your goals and why you want to work with RSM. Lay everything on the table with confidence and humbleness and you will do amazing!

Question 1
What type of returns do you want to work on when in the field?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
I don't attend a target school so there wasn't on campus recruitment. However, I reached out to a recruiter and she set up a phone interview with me. The phone interview was really short but it was an attempt to see if I was a good fit. After about a week or two, I was invited for an office interview(superday)
At the office interview, there was a welcome session, two interviews, lunch and a debrief. I interviewed with a Senior tax manager from the credits and incentives group and the Northeast Tax. The interviews were 30 minutes long each. After both interviews the other applicants and I interviewing for tax positions were given an office tour by two tax senior associates that took us out for lunch.
In general, it was a pretty pleasant experience and everyone I interacted with was very nice and were genuinely interested in getting to know you as an individual.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, describe everything on and off resume. They want to get to know you and your dedication to the position. Not a behavioral interview. They're interested in YOU. Personally, I believe its the best type of interview.
