I applied online. I interviewed at RK&K (Washington, DC) in Nov 2023
Interview
Had a call with the recruiter and hiring manager today. Discussed the role, team expectations, and next steps. Overall, it was a positive and encouraging conversation, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.
There is a phone screening, then another screening with a technical expert. Finally, there is an in-person interview. For a mid-level position, they asked standard interview questions that you can find online. Be able to discuss past projects and challenges.

Question 1
What are your strengths and weaknesses? Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
The interview process was informal and in two stages. The first was a Teams meeting and the second was at their office. The first meeting I spoke with two people, one an engineer and the other from HR. HR covered benefits and compensation and the engineer asked technical and getting to know you questions. The second interview was with three engineers and was open discussion. I ended up withdrawing from consideration due to another offer.
