      Freelancer Interview

      Feb 28, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at RIBA in Feb 2020

      Interview

I was asked to do a short, 30 minute task at home before a phone interview, mostly about using their internal CMS. The interview itself was fairly straight forward questions about past experience and so on. Pleasant enough, but after the interview they were clearly unsure about giving me the job, which was to start the following week. Asked if I could come in to do a trial shift before starting, which was then cancelled at 4pm the day before because, in the end, they didn't think I was experienced enough. Not ideal to have moved things around in my freelance schedule to be dropped last minute.
