Pretty straightforward. Attend the career fair, there is no online application. Prepare to talk about your passions and how they align with the ideas and goals of Qumulo and what you are doing to pursue those passions.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qumulo (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sep 2021
Interview
A behavioral meeting followed by a technical interview consisting of a programming based question. The technical portion took approximately one hour. The behavioral portion took place a few days prior to the technical interview.

Interview
Applied through my college's career fair. Spoke with a VP of engineering there, she was very nice. My recruiter was fantastic and helpful, first was a 15 minute phone screen where I was able to ask questions.
The hour long virtual technical interview was terrible. The engineer who was interviewing me seemed disinterested, quiet, and wouldn't talk with me unless I pressed him while I was solving the problem. I chose to program in Java and it soon became apparent that he didn't know Java. He even got up and started walking around in the middle of the virtual interview. Towards the end of the interview it became apparent that I was stuck and that I wasn't going to finish the problem, so he stopped responding to my questions and thought process. He asked me to stop ten minutes early and ended the interview prematurely. Overall I was extremely disappointed and upset, and while it is possible that I lacked the skills needed, it would have been nice if the interviewer was more respectful and collaborative. I won't ever consider applying to this company again because of this experience, it showed me that engineers likely don't collaborate very well here.
