The interview with HR was fast and positive. Next interview was scheduled fast. Had some questions about previous experience, salary expectations and work requirements. Not much more to say at this point.
I applied online. I interviewed at Quicklizard (Petah Tikva) in Sep 2025
Interview
Had 6 interviews with this company. Made it to the reference stage then got ghosted.
Went to their office and stayed there for 2.5 hours, met with TL, C level in charge of CS and the team. I was supposed to meet with the HR but she just left without even telling me.
The communication throughout the process wasn’t good. I had to follow up multiple times at different stages because they weren’t getting back to me.
During the assignment presentation, instead of being a one on one with the TL he had brought 2 other team members - without notice, which I didn’t appreciate.
Lastly, and most importantly, they just ghosted me. They asked for my references which led me to believe they were interested in moving forward but they never called them. I emailed them for updates, they said they had other candidates in the pipeline and will get back to me.
Two months after the last interview, they send me the generic rejection email.
I spent so much time interviewing for them, working on the assignment, driving to their office (took me 2.5 hours back and forth from Tel Aviv) and they can’t even call me for 2 minutes to let me know.

Question 1
They asked General CS questions; challenges, what I worked on etc.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Quicklizard (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jun 2025
Interview
My interview process felt fast tracked, which I took as a compliment.
Day 1: HR interview.
Day 2: In the AM I spoke with the dev team lead. 15 minutes after the call HR called to say they wanted to move forward and scheduled a call for the next day.
Day 3: Technical interview with team member and dev team lead. The interview went swimmingly and I quickly got another call to move forward. They scheduled a call with the VP for that evening. That call went well and I was invited to the office for a face to face with HR.
Day 4: The meeting with HR I felt went really well. We went over the scheduled time but I didn't mind. I even got an office tour - which to me felt that that meant it was a done deal. I was asked for my recommendations and I went on my way.
Day 5: I hear back from my recommendations - they told me the calls went well and good luck. Great! show time.
Nearly 2 weeks go by and finally I receive a copy paste email "we've decided to go with other candidates at this time". I was shocked at the rejection (but that happens) I was even more shocked that I received an automated email. After all the time I gave - they couldn't even write out the email themselves or call?
Very disappointing.
I emailed back a few days later asking for clarification on what were the reasons they decided to go with others while it seemed that it was a good fit during the process...
Over a month later and I'm yet to hear back from them.
