Interview
Helps to know somebody within the company. Have a respectable teaching/coaching/playing resume in the hockey world. Be ready to deal with sports parents from the most casual and honest to the most harsh and borderline crazy. If you are able to become friends with the management staff and show that you are willing to be a part of their culture, as well as bring effective hockey knowledge/ player development to the table you should be able to secure a position once it is available.

Making sure you know how to communicate with kids and parents alike. Sometimes this will be different and some kids need to be talked to differently than how their parents do in order for them to get the most out of the lessons and instruction.
