I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix
Interview
It was fairly quick because I knew someone that worked there. I spoke to the store manager and convinced him to give me a one-on-one interview with the grocery manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my experience and work preferences. I don't remember the specifics, but nothing too difficult. Discussing work availability was tough because they put you on the spot. As long as you are confident and can present some valuable work experience/skills, you should be good to go.
You may get something like:
Describe your prior experience.
What made you choose Publix?
Are you comfortable bending, kneeling, walking, etc?
Can you work weekends and nights?
Had an interview with the customer service manager, where we had discussed my past work experience, skills, and availability for the position, along with expectations and responsibilities for the role.
The easiest interview I’ve ever done. It’s pretty basic and they ask pretty simple questions. It was less than 30 minutes and they don’t drill you on anything. It’s a grocery store job so it’s not that deep.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix in Feb 2023
Interview
It was quick and simple, manager basically will hire you if he or she sees the potential. They are nice and makes sure that through the process that you are comfortable at all times.
