I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Statesville, NC) in Feb 2017
Interview
I made an appointment at a job fair for their new location and they put me on the computer to do my application. The guy there told me that if they would give me a call in a few days if they wanted to interview me. I got a call telling me they wanted me to come in for an interview. The guy that interviewed me was super nice and genuine. He really calmed my nerves and we talked for about 5 minutes about random stuff before the interview even started. Then he said they will give me a call back if I got the job. I got a call back a few days later asking to meet for a second interview so they can get my information.
Mundane interview about cutting techniques and customer service experience. Reviewer was not even apart of that department. I didn't get to speak with actual manager until the 3rd step of the process
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Publix (Jacksonville, FL) in Jul 2020
Interview
The interview was extremely easy and painless. Hiring manager asks you why you decided to choose publix. Ask about work history and why you think you're a good fit for Publix.
