The job was first posted in January of this year and I applied on the Prudential careers website.
After a couple of weeks, I got a mail from the recruiter and she had setup a 30 min initial HR discussion to discuss expected compensation and she forwarded the CV to two VPs in the NJ location where the position was based out of.
I heard nothing for a couple of weeks and then a 1 hour telephonic interview was setup with the VPs of respective departments (IT and Business).
They asked all sort of questions, queries from transformation to Agile Scrum Kanban and DevOps. No feedback was provided for around a month after the telephonic interview. I contacted the recruiter and she came back after 3-4 days for another in-person interview in Newark office.
The in-person interview was postponed 3 times and finally I could make it. It was more than an hour and the queries were more about establishing a Agile COP, processes, materials required for creating internal Agile training, Agile Certifications. It was both strategic as well as tactical. More around their queries for staring an Agile transformation.
I dropped a mail to recruiter for the feedback but she did not care to respond.
It was in April, 2018. The position is still open as of today (Aug-8) after more than 6 months of listing the position (The same requisition number with a name change still open after 6 months of serious hunt) and they said that they were interviewing heavily... Either they do not have any urgent need or no need or they are just clarifying their queries with Agile experts at no cost to the company while sitting in their chambers ..... very bad experience... I will be better careful with these kind of interviews in future.... waste of time and energy.... LOL
